A test by British or less British researchers has shown how anticipation is enough to trigger and install fear.
Several subjects who had been shown the bugs and snakes they were about to feel on their skin developed fear before the action began. In fact, the action did not occur because the blindfolded subjects were touched with wires instead of snakes and pistachios instead of bugs.
Fear is all in your head. Fear is a choice. Fear makes you stupid when you could be smart. Fear makes you bad when you might as well be good. Fear makes you stay when you could go forward or makes you run when it’s time to stay. Fear makes you doubt when you might be determined. Fear only makes you human when you could be a better human.
