We’re all good at making plans about what we’d like our lives to look like. Usually for a 3-hour long coffee or a glass of wine, 7 cigarettes, and as many dreams. You get excited; your eyes twinkle; you’d start right now if you didn’t have one more sip.
You just postpone for another sip, another smoke, and you start to see everything that stands in your way. You are not looking for solutions to overcome; you are looking for excuses not even to start. How could you ever fail if you didn’t even try?
You put out your cigarette, drink your last sip of coffee, get up, and find something to do that has nothing to do with your dream. When you’re done, you’re going to take on your dream.
Tomorrow morning, no doubt, first thing, you will begin working on your dream. Tomorrow you drink a coffee, smoke 7 cigarettes, and as many dreams… You are not living life, but, oh my, how good you are at talking life!
As a wise man said, if you are thirsty, you start drinking water, right? Or are you just talking about water, and you’re no longer thirsty?
