Start

I’m getting some fantastic starts
Ready, Set, Go!
Bang!
I’m reading Ușeriu
He inspires me
I inspire
I’ve never had endurance
I’m not allowed to finish long races.
Not even to sign up for them

When I tried, my head almost exploded
I’ve been assigned short runs
“Short and intense, young lady, these are for you.”
Fast
With the speed of light
Just to take off
Free
Serene
So my heart flies from my chest.
So the tree of life explodes green in me.
And to turn blank in the brain… I finally hear the silence.
I smell it
I touch it
I marvel like Blaga that “where and when I have appeared into the light, I do not know.”
I don’t need a cheering gallery; they wouldn’t even get to clap their hands once
My long name would stop at halfway in their mouths
Fast tracks
repetitive
Fortunately, at least none of them look alike

27 steps, says Ușeriu
Another 27
Another 27
But for me, so rarely going further.

An infinite string of starts
In a circle
And from the beginning
In a circle
I try
In the sky

What scraps have you made me out of, my God, to carry on with nothing
What work you’ve given me
To run to the end of the crumb and then from the beginning
Just to start
But do you want me to show you that I can build like that too?

It’s always TODAY for me
Never tomorrow
Today is my tomorrow
Never further
These starts… in parallel, in a whirlwind, like a disoriented, brain-torn superman.
Then, one on top of the other.
Like a layered cake
Layered starts…
Starts in layers!
Wait, it works this way, too! To the top, not forward. Pfff… That was it!
You knew I could do it! Thank you!
