Yo, cell!

I woke up again with strange questions in my head. What if we were just cells inside a giant man? They say that God is everywhere. They also say that God is in each of us. And that each of us is God. That everyone is unique in their own way, but that we are all the same. That we each have our own purpose, our role. That we are all special, but that we function as a unitary whole.

Women want aliens!?!

I didn’t say it first. It belongs to a good friend who agreed I publish this conclusion drawn from her recent experiences. Apparently, more recently, women want aliens. Didn’t you know? Well, then, read on!

If you have the privilege of having parents still alive, don’t love them only at Christmas

As the word goes out that the fluffy old man is coming, suddenly everyone remembers having parents and has to be good, love them, and go home. Where is home? To mom and dad, if you’re lucky.

To whom? To those two whom you accuse the rest of the year that they broke you inside when you were a child, that they spank you, or that they didn’t have enough money to buy you more dolls. Or that they didn’t spank you enough or that they had too much money but too little affection to give. And it’s your problem if you didn’t understand by now that, most likely, these people did their best. And it’s your problem if their best isn’t enough for you. I challenge you to do better than they could.

Is love enough?

A friend asked me one day, and my instinctive answer was no. Not for a long-term relationship. The question came along with a book, “The Five Love Languages” by Gary Chapman, so I started reading it.

It was a good thing that I didn’t google the author before reading it; maybe if I had found out that in addition to being a marriage counselor, the author was also a pastor, I might have read it more reluctantly. But when I found out it was too late, his theory was already kissing my logic, and I found it interesting. The theory.

Replace the fear of the unknown with curiosity

I didn’t say it; it was a quote I stumble upon on the Internet. But I agree. Because the moment I saw it, it struck me that I’ve been doing this for as long as I can remember. Initially intuitive. Then, self-educated. Because I realized that fear makes you stupid. And that the times when I managed to overcome my fear were those when a part of me curiously said: “Let’s see what’s there!“. And off I went.

Do I also get a warranty?

The woman likes warranties. Cause she thinks that this way she will be safer. Home appliances with at least 24 months warranty. Engagement ring. Marriage certificate. She thinks that if he passes through the test bench or the town hall and he resists a lousy test, he will withstand any test in time, regardless of the conditions.

Reality changes when you closely observe it!?!

You keep him under observation more than the national treasure: “He didn’t answer the phone. I am sure he was with another woman. He closed his Facebook when I approached to see what he was doing. He must be looking at his ex’s profile. I saw him looking at that blonde. If he were alone, he would surely go after her. ” You don’t remember exactly what shade you chose for your hair last time, instead you know his every wrinkle, every grimace, you know what every blink and every gesture means. Or at least you think you know. Well, what do you think? You don’t know shit!
